A) we need to make a sherbet quickly for some guest but we only have sugar Candy in the house.

answer :- we need sugar Candy into fine powder. when the Powder is fine it will quickly dissolve in water therefore we can make sure but quickly.

 B) we need to rub Salt on a corncop but only salt crystals are available.

answer :- we can salt crystals. either we can use a motor crystal or we can also create the crystals of salt in a grinder. such powder salt can be used easily applied on the corncob.


Q.2 use your brain power !

A) why do you tablets of camp decrease in size day by day ?

Answer :- tablets of camphor are in solid state. camphor for has a property to turn into gases state directly from a solid state. therefore a decrease in size greatly one can also notice the fragrance of camphor at it turns into vapour.

B) how do you we save fuel by using public transport ?

answer :- each automobile vehicle needs fuel either in the form of petrol, diesel or CNG. if all the people use to separate vehicle, the amount of fuel consumed which would be much more. if many people starting using a public transport the fuel consumption will be reduced. a single bus or a train can carry many papers and does it can save a lot of fuel.

 Q.3 Answer the following questions.

A) when and why do clothes made of naphthalene ?

answer :- the nepheline balls are continuously converted into small particles in the gases states. there particles settle down on the cloth in which there are kept. therefore if naphthalene balls are kept for a long time in the clothes their smell of naphthalene due to this particles.

B) in which state is water found in nature ?

answer :- solid, liquid and gases are the three states in which water is found in nature.

C) what is the difference between the solid, liquid and gases state of substance ?

 answer :- the arrangement of particles in a different states of a substance are different. in solid state a particles are closely packed. in liquids there are particles are lightly away from each.  other while a gaseous state are not in contact with each other and are really places.

D) what is meant by energy ?

Answer :-  the capacity to the work is called energy.
